About NICHOLAS
I hold a Master’s degree in Space Science and Technology and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, providing a strong academic foundation in physics, mathematics, and applied problem-solving. I am also TEFL-certified and have over two years of classroom teaching experience in Korea and China, working with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. In addition to my academic teaching background, I have experience working as a ski instructor and outdoor instructor, which further developed my ability to communicate clearly and adapt explanations to different learners. My postgraduate research focused on observational studies of exoplanets, giving me practical experience applying physics concepts beyond the classroom.

I place particular emphasis on simplifying complex ideas and reducing unnecessary jargon, helping students focus on the underlying principles rather than memorising formulas. Sessions combine concise explanations with worked examples and guided practice. My academic background in Space Science and Astrophysics allows me to connect core physics topics to real applications, where appropriate. I primarily teach university and senior secondary physics, including maths‑based physics and thermodynamics, and aim to help students develop confidence and independent problem‑solving skills.
