My teaching approach is to focus first on understanding the important concepts of physics. I then show how mathematics is used to make these concepts easier to understand. I emphasize real world problem solving and careers in engineering and physics that are growing and expanding. Lessons focus on what key concepts that you are having trouble with and how mathematics can help clarify any issues. As a research scientist and teacher, I think a concept based curriculum is the best approach.
