About Oscar
I'm an MSci Theoretical Physics student at the University of Bristol, currently averaging a high first across my modules. I specialise in Maths and Physics up to A-level, and offer a teaching style that focuses on building genuine understanding rather than just exam technique, though I'll make sure you're fully prepared for whatever paper you're sitting.
I've always been drawn to the deeper why behind the equations, and I find that approach transfers well to tutoring: once the underlying logic clicks, problems become much easier. I'm patient, thorough, and happy to take things at whatever pace works best for you.

Teaching would focus on giving students a more intuitive understanding of the subject which is sometimes hard to get in larger classes. Beyond this we would look at example problems and the style of exams. A lesson would typically last an hour, although this is flexible. I am experienced in teaching younger students, presentation and communication from my school's Physics society, which I led and which provided these opportunities. Lessons are aimed at GCSE and A level.
