About Jack
-I have always had a passion for maths and physics, which has accelerated recently during my time at university. Everybody I speak to tells me how important they have realised it is to be an able mathematician, no matter what they are doing in life.
-Maths is a subject I find can be either very well taught or extremely poorly taught at school. I have had teachers who are useless, and teachers who have made maths seem so simple; the latter have given me tricks and tools which I think everybody should know in order to make maths so much easier.
-Meanwhile, I am a keen footballer, fluent at German and love to play the guitar.

-In both mathematics and physics, I place key emphasis on practice questions. As such, I briefly use condensed notes to help students refine their own notes. Then, I show how key ideas can be applied to problems. I also want to show students how to be savvy about their revision (using the online specification etc)
-I have always tutored hour-long lessons; longer sessions would also be ideal.
-I have tutored two students in maths whilst I was studying at sixth form. One student went from a 5 in mathematics to a 7; the other went from a 3 to a 4 (GCSE level)
-My lessons are suited to all ages who want to improve their GCSE/A-Level maths and physics grades.
