About Louis
I am Louis, a Physics Undergraduate student at Queen Mary University of London. I have also completed A-Level maths, physics and chemistry and have a vast understanding of these subjects. I am very passionate about my subject areas and enjoy teaching others about them, hence me signing up to be a tutor. I believe that a lot of teachers take themselves too seriously and getting to know students is beneficial as something as simple as a relatable comparison or a different teaching approach can completely change someone’s understanding of a subject (I’m speaking from experience here). Overall, I look forward to furthering your understanding and helping you achieve higher grades in your GCSE exams.

I dedicate myself to finding the areas you aren’t so good at and, using learning methods specific to each student, will improve your fundamental understanding of these areas in a way that isn’t just “read and copy down”. This way you can work through any question the GCSE board can throw at you. I will use personal and relatively informal teaching methods so that it doesn’t feel like you’re in class at all and so that you actually want to remember what I teach you. I will devise and set homeworks tailored to you (if you choose to receive these homeworks in your introductory lesson). I believe I am more personable than most teachers and can relate to my students better than others, this creates a fun and productive learning experience.
