About John
I have received numerous teaching awards in both my position as an Associate Professor of Physiology and Biophysics in a medical school setting and as a Senior Instructional Professor at an undergraduate institution. I have mentored both PhD students and undergraduate teaching assistants. I have served as the director of physiology education and the director of undergraduate research and truly enjoy working with students.

I provide tailored tutoring sessions in human physiology. Every student experiences unique blocks to mastering the material. I prefer to focus my tutoring sessions on addressing these specific problem areas. I have over 25 years of experience teaching physiology at the undergraduate, graduate, and medical school level.
