About Harrison
I am a 2nd year Physiotherapy Student at ACU who has a good background of maths and sciences. This will be my first time using this tutoring network, however, I have lots of experience in teaching kids. During my year 12 in 2018 I was College Captain and sports captain, and so I spent time each day mentoring other students with academics and sports - I even coached kids in playing water polo! Therefore you can trust me as I know how to provide a fun and engaging learning experience! My favourite subjects at school were maths and biology in which I achieved an OP 4 at the end of high school. I now study sciences in my degree in much detail and am able to confidently tutor all age groups from Prep - Year 10.

My teaching method is to focus on individual topics which the student may have had trouble with in class as this is the most efficient and productive way to learn. I aim to build a connection with students which will make them feel as comfortable as possible. I only believe in positive reinforcements and encouragements as one thing I have learned in the real world is that negativity never allows one to reach their potential. I love to be an enthusiastic and motivating teacher as I want my students to feel confident and happy not only with learning but within their self.
