About Lennart
Hey there! My name is Lennart and I came to Ireland after finishing my 5-year study at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Germany. I'm a big fan of sports and outdoor activities, but music plays the biggest part in my life. I grew up with it, played violin at the age of 4, and started piano two years later. Now I've completed my Bachelor of Music with the highest grade in piano, which still feels surreal to me. During my studies, I also got trained in composition for media, improvisation, music theory, and recording techniques/music production. It's very easy to make me enthusiastic about many different music-related topics. This is also why I started to be more passionate about modern music production and why I started to play music in many different bands in diverse styles like reggae, 80's rock, and Cologne carnival rock. I specialize in an integrated lesson approach that makes music understandable as a whole, rather than focusing on sheet music and piano techniques. Even though these things will always be part of the lessons, I've experienced a huge increase in progress with the students I also educate in ear training, music theory, and improvisation. I strongly believe that the creation of music can be easily accessible, it's not a complicated thing and I'd love to show it to you. Additionally, I also offer advanced lessons in most Western classical styles (Baroque to Impressionism), composition, and music production in Ableton.
