About Mathilde
I am a French pianist and music therapist, and I have been playing the piano for around ten years. I studied contemporary keyboard at the Annecy Conservatory for three years, followed by three years of classical piano at the Montpellier Conservatory. Alongside my musical studies, I also completed a university diploma in music therapy at Paul Valéry University Montpellier 3.
This combination of musical experiences and approaches has greatly enriched me as a piano teacher. My goal is to help students learn the piano with both rigour and enjoyment.

During our lessons, we will work on the fundamentals of piano technique and music theory, before practising a piece chosen by the student. If necessary, I can write or adapt the sheet music myself so that it matches their level.
We will also work on specific exercises and pieces based on each student’s individual needs and goals.
I want learning to be enjoyable, with a strong focus on enjoyment and comfort while playing. In addition to learning pieces, we can also explore, composition and improvisation.
