I have given lessons for 1 year. I took lessons for 7 years. I have played for 15. I have taught in both groups and individually. My training was in classical piano, but I have also played pop and jazz.

I base my teaching off of what the student wants to learn and play. If they are not excited about what they are playing, there is less practice and less proficiency. All learning will also incorporate some theory as well.
