About Allison
I have 7 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California (USC) along with my master’s degree from UCLA.
I have helped students build strong foundations and perform confidently. I received a Creative Piano Teaching Medal for making lessons engaging and easy to understand. I focus on clarity, patience, and steady improvement in every lesson.
I enjoy reading about music composition and listening to classical and modern piano pieces, which helps me stay inspired and creative.

I teach piano in a structured and easy-to-follow way so students can understand and enjoy the instrument from the beginning. I start with note recognition, hand coordination, and rhythm, and then guide you into chords, song playing, and musical expression. I also explain music theory in a practical way so you can connect concepts with what you play.
I include keyboard and synthesizer basics for students interested in modern music styles. My lessons are designed to help you grow step by step without feeling overwhelmed. Lessons on Teams/Zoom will be clear, interactive, and adapted to your pace, ensuring you get full understanding and support. Together, we’ll make a subject you enjoy.
