About Ella
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Instruction and have spent the past 6 years helping students develop practical and enjoyable piano skills. My love for music began through early piano study and continued through performance experiences and educational training. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm while helping learners achieve meaningful goals. Seeing students gain confidence at the keyboard continues to inspire my work.
My teaching style emphasizes patience, structure, and encouragement. I believe students learn most effectively when they understand the purpose behind each exercise and technique. Lessons are adapted to individual learning styles while maintaining clear objectives. Students receive supportive guidance that helps them overcome challenges and celebrate successes. This creates a positive and productive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying musicians, exploring new repertoire, and studying educational approaches to music learning. These interests help me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Watching students grow from uncertain beginners into confident performers is incredibly rewarding. I strive to make every lesson engaging and supportive. My goal is to help learners build skills they can enjoy for many years.

My piano lessons focus on helping students become comfortable and fluent at the keyboard from the beginning. Learners work on finger independence, note reading, rhythm recognition, hand coordination, chord understanding, and musical interpretation through practical exercises and engaging repertoire. I believe music should feel approachable, so lessons are structured to build confidence step by step. Every concept is connected to actual playing situations, helping students understand how different skills fit together. This creates a strong foundation for long-term musical development.
Lessons are personalized according to each learner’s interests and objectives. Some students enjoy modern songs and accompaniment patterns, while others prefer classical music or ensemble participation. Activities include sight reading, rhythm training, ear development, duet playing, and creative exercises that strengthen musical awareness. Students receive clear explanations and practical strategies for effective practice. Progress is measured through achievable goals that encourage consistent improvement.
My aim is to help students become independent musicians who enjoy making music. As confidence grows, learners become more comfortable exploring new pieces and expressing themselves creatively. Lessons promote focus, discipline, and enjoyment. Every milestone is recognized as an important achievement. I want students to experience both the satisfaction of improvement and the joy of music-making.
