He made his concerto debut at the age of nine with the State Symphony Orchestra of Moscow and has since performed widely across Europe, Russia, Israel and the United States.

My students consistently achieve excellent results in ABRSM and Trinity exams, with many gaining Merit and Distinction. I take an individual approach to teaching, shaping each lesson around the student’s goals, level and way of learning so that progress feels both structured and personal.
As the ABRSM examiner, I have professional understanding of the syllabus and can offer focused support for exam preparation, including work based closely on the marking criteria and mock exams with realistic and accurate mark estimates.
My training began at the Gnessin Special Music School in Moscow, and I later completed my Bachelor of Music, Master of Performance and Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London. This background gives me a broad and thorough foundation that I bring into every lesson. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced pianists, and aim to create a supportive atmosphere where confidence and musical understanding can grow steadily.
As an active concert pianist, I understand the pressures that can come with performing and can help students manage nerves and build greater security on stage. With more than seven years of private teaching experience, alongside public masterclasses, I have developed a clear and engaging teaching approach that helps students build strong technique, musical awareness and confidence.

  • 1) When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

Ever since I was four years old, my passion for music ignited when my mother introduced me to the enchanting world of piano. Attending concerts mesmerized me, listening to great pianists, conductors and orchestras. Among those memorable experiences was witnessing the brilliance of Van Cliburn in one of his final performances. His mastery left me spellbound, sparking a deep admiration for the piano and its endless possibilities in the world of music.
  • 2) Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I find solace and endless inspiration in the timeless melodies of piano romanticism, particularly the works of Schumann and Rachmaninoff. Their compositions resonate deeply within me, captivating my soul with each note.
  • 3) Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

As a music instructor, I am dedicated to tailoring my teachings to the unique aspirations of each student. Exploring the piano compositions of Rachmaninoff, Brahms, and Prokofiev offers an exhilarating challenge, where technical mastery intertwines with emotive expression, creating a profound musical journey.
  • 4) What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

While every instrument presents its own set of challenges, I believe the piano holds a unique complexity. Its vast range of dynamics, intricate fingerings, and simultaneous coordination of melody and harmony demand a lot of dedication and precision, making it a lifelong pursuit of mastery.
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

The keys to success in music are forged through unwavering practice, steadfast encouragement, and a boundless dedication to honing one's craft. Each note played with passion and purpose brings one closer to realizing their musical dreams.
  • 6) Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

Rachmaninoff, a timeless icon of pianism, conducting, and, of course, composing; Gilles, to ask him to unravel the secrets behind his golden sound; and Prokofiev, to have a spirited discussion about music, play a friendly game of chess, and share some laughter in the end.
  • 7) Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

Reflecting on my days at music school, I have a good memory from one of my first concerts, at the age of four. Despite starting the piece with the wrong note, I embraced the mishap, restarted with determination, and triumphed in the end. Must have been funny to witness!
  • 8) What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

As a piano teacher, my approach is rooted in a deep love for the art form and a genuine desire to share its joys with others. Whether guiding beginners or nurturing advanced talents, I infuse each lesson with enthusiasm, empathy, and a shared appreciation for the transformative power of music.
