About Kira
My journey with piano began when I discovered how music could express feelings beyond words. I earned a B.Mus in Piano Performance and later an M.Mus in Keyboard Pedagogy, which allowed me to deepen both artistic understanding and teaching methods. Over the past 9 years, I have guided students through piano learning with warmth, clarity, and structured encouragement.
I believe piano education should feel motivating rather than overwhelming. My teaching style emphasizes supportive pacing, strong fundamentals, and helping students develop confidence through steady progress. Each learner receives personalized guidance based on their goals and musical interests.
Outside teaching, I remain connected to piano through performance practice, repertoire study, and exploring new teaching approaches. Teaching is meaningful because I witness students grow from uncertainty into confident musicians. Supporting learners as they discover their musical voice is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Piano lessons become inspiring when students feel both guided and free to explore music creatively. My teaching approach focuses on strong technical foundations, musical interpretation, rhythm accuracy, and expressive playing in a calm and encouraging environment. I help learners enjoy progress step by step, ensuring that each session builds confidence and musical understanding.
Beginners start with posture, finger control, basic note reading, and simple melodies that create early success. Intermediate students develop stronger coordination, chord understanding, sight-reading improvement, and expressive phrasing through structured practice. Advanced learners refine performance skills, interpretation depth, advanced repertoire, and preparation for exams or auditions with detailed coaching. I also encourage creativity through improvisation and musical exploration so students connect emotionally with what they play.
Piano lessons strengthen patience, focus, and personal pride. Many learners find that music becomes a comforting and empowering part of life. Over time, students gain confidence not only in technique but also in self-expression. My goal is to help each pianist grow into a musician who plays with joy, skill, and authenticity.
