The Hap'ning Place is celebrating its 25th year! We've been around so long the children we taught are now bringing their little ones for lessons! Our enthusiastic and patient teachers are all qualified performing professionals with their degrees in piano and would love to help you or your child on their musical journey.

Free the Music Within You! Encouraging, fun and challenging lessons with us at The Hap'ning Place help you to find your musical voice. - Which subject(s) do you teach? We teach Piano and also offer lessons in Violin, Viola, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Guitar and voice. - Tell me about your qualifications. All our qualified, experienced teachers have their degrees in the instruments they teach - How much do you charge? Piano, Violin, Viola, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Guitar lessons are £34for half hour and £54 per hour - Where do you teach? Lessons are available at The Hap'ning Place studio in London. Crouch End/Hornsey/ N8 - When are you available? Lesson times are available Monday to Saturday day times and evenings until 9pm. - Which ages and levels do you teach? All ages and levels of ability. We are able to prepare students to Diploma level in the Music Examinations, but we also have students who are enjoying making music as an activity without any particular goal in mind. We have students doing everything from Classical to contemporary. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? We have a 100% success rate preparing our students through to the diploma level in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity, London College of Music and Rock Skool examinations. We also coach singers preparing for West End auditions, University placement auditions, orchestra auditions, etc.

My lessons at The Hap'ning Place have enabled me to get the voice I always wanted. By applying the techniques in ANY style of singing; I always have the tools to produce the sound I desire. My power, range and control still surprise even me.
Incredibly patient and inspiring teachers, who really make learning the piano fun.
My voice has really developed, and she manages to explain things like posture, breathing and voice production in a witty and easy-to-follow way. She is great!
The Hap'ning Place has a great way of developing your confidence: from one-to-one lessons through group work and on to trying out your solo voice in the supportive mini studio recitals.
I find the lessons extremely uplifting and fun, and my range and breath control have improved considerably.
