Colby Charnin is an incredibly talented musician with the accolades to prove it. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music with a degree in piano performance, he has been pursuing a career in music for almost a decade. This career extends to teaching, a field which he is equally talented in; he currently provides piano lessons at multiple institutions. His students have always seen major improvement under his guidance. As a current student of his, I can attest to this. I first went to Colby as a beginner on the piano, and because of his wisdom, I have progressed tremendously and am now studying in the Precollege division at the Manhattan School of Music. I will be applying to several music colleges in 2024 to further my pianistic endeavors. Colby holds valuable connections within the piano performance community that I am fortunate enough to have capitalized on.

Colby is a talented musician and an incredible teacher. He has been my children's piano teacher for over 5 years and we have nothing but praise for Colby. He takes great pride in his work, is dedicated to his students and genuinely wants to see them succeed. My children are learning all aspects of music and are making great progress as musicians. We cannot recommend him enough!

Colby is incredible! I value him so much for making my dream come to play the piano. I always wanted to do it and you know I was told piano and music would come later in life as a child and it has. He is so patient and knowledgeable I couldn't recommend anyone better. He inspired so much so that I composing my own album!

My son is on the spectrum with attention issues. He has been studying piano with Colby since he was 5 years old. Now at 12, my son is not only playing Chopin but also writing his own incredible music pieces.

Colby has gone out of his way to learn about my son’s interests and mix things up so he actually enjoys practicing piano!! I wish I had a piano teacher like Colby when I was introduced to the instrument.
