About Tess

With 8 years of teaching experience, I provide Piano lessons to students of all ages, including school and college students, as well as working professionals. I focus on making learning enjoyable and accessible, helping students develop a strong foundation in music theory, performance, and composition. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel motivated and confident to explore their musical abilities. My teaching philosophy centres on understanding each student’s individual goals and adapting lessons to fit their needs. I believe in combining patience, encouragement, and clear guidance to help students progress at their own pace. I emphasise not just technical skills, but also creativity, expression, and a deep appreciation for music. Over the years, I have guided many students to achieve notable accomplishments, including successful exam completions, public performances, and developing their own unique musical styles. My approach is flexible, structured, and dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential while enjoying the journey of learning Piano.
