About Lily
I am a recent graduate from Cardiff university with a lot of experience in both performing and teaching pole. I was president of the university club for a year and was part of the committee for 2 years running. I took part in many competitions, taking first place at the Welsh Dragon intermediate category. I taught for 3 years at the club after obtaining a beginner and intermediate qualification from Spin City, one of the leading UK pole establishments and have continued to grow in strength and confidence through each lesson. I find it so rewarding to see pupils develop their skills and strength.

I have a mixture of teaching methodologies depending on what the pupils want to gain from pole. Any lesson will always include a vigorous warm up and cool down with conditioning moves to improve strength and stretches to improve flexibility as these are key to improving any pupils pole skills. The body of the lesson can then be taoilored to the pupil. Technique classes involve focusing on a set of moves to be mastered with correct form and confidence. Choreography or dance lessons include a range of moves and/or floor work which are taught in sequence. These can benefit those wanting to compete or to simply learn how to put together a routine using the pole. Strength classes are esentially HIIT circuits using the pole which will see pupils doing pole pull ups, pole crunches and a range of other exercises to build up the necessary muscles involved in pole dancing.
