About Ashlyn
I first began tutoring while in high school because a few of my friends were struggling significantly with learning AP-level material. From the start, I loved helping them learn a subject that I was so passionate about and found it incredibly rewarding to work with them to learn the concepts and raise their grades. Not only am I flexible with my methods, but I’m also deeply invested in the personal success of the people I tutor. The most important thing to me is that those I’m working with are happy with their learning and their progress, meeting their personal version of success in their studies.

I have experience tutoring students of all aptitudes, working with them to raise their scores by adapting to their learning style. I’ve served as a TA for AP Government, AP Human Geography, AP Psychology, and an intro-level Sociology course. I know what it’s like to both learn and teach the subjects I tutor, so I’m in a unique position to work with students because I am one myself. My tutoring methods were so successful in raising class grades and expected AP scores that they were adopted by a long-time honors and AP teacher in both AP Government and AP Psychology, and an AP Human Geography teacher.
