About Azmin
I am an experienced tutor who has helped students achieve their best academic potential over the last 6 years. My teaching has ranged from 1-to-1 tutoring to group teaching, with all sorts of abilities. The majority of my GCSE students when tutored on a 1-to-1 basis have achieved either As or A*s in their GSCEs and have gone onto further develop themselves at prestigious higher education institutes.
I graduated with a 2:1 in Politics, International Relations and Political Economy after having studied at Queen Mary, University of London and at University of California, Berkeley. I currently work within the investment industry as an analyst where my day-to-day consists of a lot of numbers. However, my passion lies in empowering the youth of today through education and knowledge. I have found I am able to do this by putting the skills I learnt at university to use and tutor kids that need a helping hand.

I believe each student learns in different ways and therefore, assessing each students abilities and their studying style is imperative to unlocking their potential. I offer customised course materials to each student which aids in breaking up the monotony of textbook learning. My lessons are structured with lectures and followed by questions so each student gets a proper understanding of how to appropriately apply the knowledge they are gathering. Lastly, a hint of independent learning coupled with repeated revision and exam practice is included in my teaching methodology.
