About Anoushka
I am currently studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Liverpool and I have recently completed my first year.
Although I may be new to tutoring, I have previously helped teach year 5 history classes during my time in sixth form.
I obtained an A in Maths GCSE and English literature (equivalent to a grade 7 on the new system) and an A* in English language (equivalent to a grade 8).
At A Level I also achieved an A in both Maths and History and have gained much experience in being able to write coherant and comprehensive essays.

I am looking to give lessons to those in Primary School (reception - year 6) to assist with their basic reading, writing and spelling skills. I will structure my lessons surrounding the 3 basic skills of reading, writing and spelling and tailor the teaching according to what component needs the most assistance.
I am also available to tutor pupils who are currently in years 7-8 to aid the development of their comprehensive and creative writing skills in order to lay solid foundations as they go onto more complex topics. We will focus on analysing texts, both fictional and non-fictional, as well as practicing how to answer questions that follow the format of a comprehension. We will also tackle how to structure a creative writing task and understand the uses of the various different creative writing techniques.
