About MARCOS
Having languages as a hobby, I've been teaching for 6 years to share my passion and contribute to my students. I am a Brazilian guy who had grown up in Japan where I spent 12 years between comings and goings to Brazil—currently living in Los Angeles, California.
I work as an interpreter/translator and I've worked in the events such as Brazil Soccer World Cup, the Rio Olympics Games 2016, and also for a big airline company. I like to be a "mediator" between countries and peoples and I have fun with culture shocks.

Teaching languages has always been a passion. My methodology is based on student needs .
My style of tutoring is highly focusing on mastering writing ,grammar, conversation and pronunciation along with an accurate Brazilian Portuguese accent.
Practicing is the name of the game to enrich our ability to speak and express ourselves hence I encourage my students to go through casual dialogues & discussions for some time each lesson that will lead to improve their capacity of Oral conversations & Writing comprehension in a short period of time (We will track together the progress).
We will be able to cover the most essential aspects of the language from reading, writing, learning new vocabulary and live grammar exercises in only an hour.
