I have an undergraduate degree in computer science from Barnard College, Columbia University.
I currently work for Barnard College creating and teaching computing workshops.
I have also tutored and mentored students in computer science, as well as taught Java for kids.

I am passionate that computer science is for everyone! My approach to teaching is to have students type code and run code before the coding all clicks. Most exciting coding projects involve working through the unfamiliar. I want to ensure my students have experience and grow confidence in how to get through the unknown and debug the issues so that they can keep learning and progressing on their own time.
