About Jeremy
I am a very passionate musician who loves helping others achieve the best results that they possibly can. Having attended many Colourstrings teacher training courses over the past 10 years, I would love to share my gained knowledge with others. I have also been very fortunate to be able to participate in many international music festivals such as the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, held in Townsville, the Adam Summer School Music Festival, held in New Zealand and the Meadowmount School of Music, held in New York State.

My violin and viola lessons are tailored towards students of all ages, with lessons based around their current musical and personal needs. I have experience in many practices such as stretching, relaxation, technical work (scales, exercises, etc.), musical games as well as various other learning activities. I focus a lot on releasing restrictive tension in the body, as my goal is to give my students the most possible freedom they can have to express themselves. I aspire to teach fun and engaging lessons, with consideration on how music fits into the student's everyday life; I endeavor to enable them to thrive not only as a musician, but as a human being.

I have know Jeremy for many years now, and he is honestly one of the kindest, most gentle people I know. He would certainly be the perfect teacher for any young student, and his extensive formal musical training ensures that he will meet the unique demands of each individual student. I can't recommend him highly enough as a viola teacher, but also as a mentor and role model for any young students looking to learn from him.
