About Larissa

I`ve worked as Portuguese and English teacher in Brasil for 7 years since I`ve graduated. I`ve worked in regular schools, university preparatory courses and competitions, English schools and private tutoring, for students of all ages. In postgraduate studies I`ve specialized in education for young people and adults and in English language teaching methodology. My classes are focus on the students needs, I have practical experience with spoken Portuguese, written purposes, tests preparation and I can bring to the class a huge cultural bagage to give a better imersion to the student.

About the lesson

I mostly work with the comunicative approach, conversation, expositive explanations and exercises based on a gramatical point. To develop an specific skill as writing, or listening I have a range of techniques based on contextualized activities following up the student with guidance and feedback.

I’ve known Larissa for a few years and I can confirm that she is a very calm and patient person, she really does what she loves, transpiring it in her way of teaching. She helped me while I was studying in college and her skills as a teacher were essential for my success in the exams I obtained, as well as for my knowledge of English that I have today. Without thinking twice, I recommend her as a great teacher.
