I am a final stage PhD candidate in the UK with teaching experience of over 7 years. I have written and published on education, colonialism, migration, violence and urban studies. My teaching method is based on offering both a holistic and a thorough engagement with the material at hand, tailored to the student themselves, to help them gain expert knowledge without losing sight of the grand picture. Focusing on analysis and critical thinking skills, and drawing on a comparative appraoch, this aims at fostering the growth of students in both the subject and more generally.
