About Alice
Hi! I’m a passionate physiology tutor who loves helping students feel more confident in the subject. I’ve got a PhD, a Master’s, and a First-Class UK science degree, and I’ve worked with learners from GCSE all the way up to postgraduate level. Physiology and Biology can both be complex, but I’m great at breaking it down into simple, clear explanations that actually stick. Whether you're revising for exams or just trying to get your head around difficult concepts, I’ll adapt to your learning style and support you every step of the way. It is so important to first identify how a student learns, to adapt my teaching accordingly. It’s ideal to first outline gaps in knowledge, and to then work through these gaps in a creative way. Going through mock exam questions also helps enhance exam performance and student grades, so once a student is confident in a certain subject area, practicing these questions and understanding how they are marked is a great way to prepare for exams; this is something I did when undertaking my exams both at University, in A-levels and in GCSE's, and it helped massively! I truly believe it is best to adhere directly to a students own needs, and take time to go through each stage of learning properly.
