About Rafael
I studied Financial and Insurance Mathematics in my bachelor degree. The subject were ranging from linear algebra over analysis to statistics and econometric.
My engineering degree was obtained in Mathematical Engineering. The key subjects were optimisation, partial differential equations and numerical methods. I was on an exchange program at the NTNU in Trondheim, Norway with a key subject computational statistics.
I am playing Piano for almost 12 years. Between my favourite composers are Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Czerny.
My father is Austrian and lived in my childhood in Austria.
Currently I am studying Management Science at Strathclyde Business School. The key topics are Reliability Engineering and Empirical Bayesian models.
