About Willow
I spent 2 years tutoring GCSE students in biology while studying for my A-levels. I am comfortable with various teaching methods.
I went from being a beginner at understanding biological concepts to studying for my master's degree in biology at Cambridge. I also gained a gold medal in the Biology Olympiad at school, in addition to undertaking a biology-focused EPQ and a CREST award examining circadian rhythms in rodents.

I am aware that every student has different needs when it comes to learning style, exam board, and confidence with the material. This is why I offer personally tailored lessons based on each individual. I allow the student to drive the format based on their preferences so that they can get the most out of their sessions. I start with identifying and filling knowledge gaps, then we will work on understanding and linking ideas, before finally moving to mark scheme optimisation and understanding what the examiner is looking for in your answers.
