About Mali
With more than 6 years of experience, I am an experienced Flute instructor teaching School students, College students, and working professionals. I believe flute learning should be simple, practical, and enjoyable for every student.
My tutoring method focuses on building strong fundamentals. I train students in breath control, finger coordination, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Lessons are planned step by step and adjusted according to individual progress.
I value clear communication and consistent guidance. I explain techniques in easy words and encourage questions during class. Accountability is ensured through structured practice routines and progress tracking. Integrity is an important part of my teaching, and I always guide students honestly.
In addition to flute instruction, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. I support students in exam preparation and recital confidence.
My unique skill is customising lessons for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. I aim to create a motivating and disciplined learning space.

My flute teaching methodology is built on Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, creating lessons that are both structured and inspiring. I begin by understanding each student’s experience, goals, and learning style, ensuring that every lesson is tailored to their needs.
Communication is central to my approach—I explain techniques such as posture, breathing, finger placement, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear, step-by-step manner, making complex concepts easy to understand. Students are encouraged to ask questions, engage actively, and participate in shaping their lessons.
Creativity is a core part of my methodology. I guide students to explore different musical genres, experiment with improvisation, and develop their own interpretations of pieces. I also incorporate opportunities for composition and creative expression, helping students discover their unique musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to each student’s pace, interests, and areas of challenge, providing personalised support and continuous motivation.
In addition to flute performance, I integrate music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and sight-reading to build well-rounded musicianship. My approach ensures students develop technical skill, artistic expression, and performance confidence, while cultivating a lifelong love for music and a deep connection to their instrument.
