About Azmi

I have worked with students in middle school and high school in math. I start off by understanding the student's strength and weakness to grasp what they need help on. If a student is not understanding a certain math problem, I will teach them how to solve a problem by using a simpler problem, and then work on multiple practice problems with them and talk through how to solve it. Then I would circle back on the main question and have them do the same thing and solve the problem similar to how I talked through it with them. If they are still struggling I might find out resources like youtube videos to explain the concept in a different way.
