About Shahd
Hello! My name is Shahd, and I am a native Arabic speaker and a student at the University of Louisville majoring in neuroscience and minoring in Arabic pursuing a pre-dental degree. Having grown up speaking Arabic, I have a strong understanding of the language, its grammar, pronunciation, and cultural context. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their Arabic skills and achieve their learning goals.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's needs, whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners looking to improve fluency. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging, creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions and learn at their own pace.
As a tutor, I am committed to professionalism, clear communication, and helping my students succeed. My goal is to help beginner through advanced Arabic learners develop confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Arabic. As a native Arabic speaker, I tailor each lesson to the student's level, learning style, and goals. Whether a student is learning Arabic for school, travel, professional purposes, religious studies, or personal interest, I create engaging and structured lessons that build vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills step by step. I strive to make learning Arabic enjoyable, interactive, and effective while helping students progress at a pace that is comfortable for them.
