About Annabelle
I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who genuinely loves learning and helping others succeed. As someone who is about to start studying Economics and Mathematics at the University of Bristol, I’ve always been passionate about problem-solving and tackling challenges, which I believe is key to excelling in both maths and economics. I’m patient, approachable, and really enjoy finding different ways to explain concepts until they click for students. I know what it’s like to struggle with certain topics, and I use that empathy to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active, socialising with friends, and finding ways to stay motivated — qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions to keep things engaging and productive. I’m here to help you achieve your goals and build your confidence in a way that works for you.

I focus on clear, relatable explanations and breaking down difficult topics into simple steps. I use exam questions, worked examples, and active recall techniques to build understanding and exam confidence. Each lesson is tailored to what the student needs most — whether that’s tackling problem areas, revising exam technique, or practising past papers. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s preference and availability. I’m predicted A*A*A*A at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Chemistry, and I’ve helped several classmates prepare for exams by explaining challenging topics in a clear, accessible way. I’ve also volunteered as a tutor for GCSE students in school, helping them grasp difficult concepts. This has allowed me to build experience in informal tutoring and academic support, which I can bring to my sessions. My lessons are aimed at GCSE, AS-level, and A-level students in Maths and Economics, typically aged 14–18, both online and in-person.
