About Joel
I am a self-taught artist from Helsinki. I have a long experience with art, have practiced the basics carefully and I know a great deal on the subject. I have worked as a sports instructor for six years and teaching is familiar and natural to me.

The course includes: portrait, figure drawing, color theory, light and shadow, ie the illusion of three-dimensionalness.
In the course, I will explain in an easy-to-understand way how to create a balanced and beautiful picture from scratch. I also teach anatomy and drawing dynamic human figures. Together we can practice making abstract art and its basic principles.
I can also advise on the techniques and theory of classical oil painting.
If desired, the course can also be used to learn how to make digital art with a free application.
Art is free self-expression, and learning techniques gives new tools for expressing visually.
The course is aimed at beginners or intermediate artists seeking to enter art schools, starting their own artistic hobby or wanting to become a professional artist.
