First of all I make an assessment of the student and then work out a schedule. If basics needs focus then I go correct that and proceed accordingly. Then I try to make the student understand the syllabus, because I believe that if a person has no idea why he is learning that or what all has to be learned in something then there is no point in learning it and proceede with portions taking into the skills and understanding of the student
