Energy, engagement, enthusiasm and enjoyment are the most important things in inspiring learning. Whether teaching in front of a class or tutoring 1:1, this is my teaching style.
I love creating teaching materials. Most of my lessons are self-made and personalised to suit the child. Naturally, lessons will be carefully selected and made to suit the needs of the child, but also adapted to include and revolve around the specific interests of the child. For example, I have taught Maths through football and boxing statistics, and writing through science fiction and Star Wars.
I'm well trained, with not only a strong pedagogical knowledge from university, but also the most up-to-date training from teaching in schools, such as phonics, Talk4Writing and EFL.
