About Nicole
I am a year 1 class teacher with 5 years of experience.
My aim is to support and provide confidence to children who are sitting their phonics test. Many children become nervous so I would like to support them in order to allow them to sound out and blend words with complete ease.

My lessons entail reviewing sounds the children do not know and focusing on how to identify them in words. The children will also focus on sounding out and blending words with those unfamiliar sounds.
They will look at something called real and fake words as this is what the screening test will show them.
