I am a primary education student at university, so I teach all subjects at a primary level. But I also tutor up to GCSE mathematics with an A-level in Maths, Psychology and English Language.

About Amaya
I was always an average student when some topics were easy, and others just boggled my mind. I also had many friends who struggled with maths in school who I would help. I believe that if I knew all the little tricks and my friends had that confidence, those tricky topics would have been easier to battle. This is why I am training to teach, as I can relate to the struggles and strive to find a way to overcome them.

You direct these sessions. You can choose if you want to do a particular topic or ask me to choose. We will find as many methods as possible to ensure you find one that works for you (along with some quick tricks on the side). Previously, I tended to ask the student to do some questions; then, we would create revision notes together and use those notes to do some other questions the week after to check that they were helpful, then adapt where required. Though you do not have to do this method, it’s all for you! I can help decode and make some helpful revision resources if you need additional support in other subjects.
