About Jonathan
I am a primary teacher with years of experience in Year 6 preparing pupils for SATs. I am also a Maths Specialist Teacher with an additional qualification from the university of Herts. I have tutored GCSE pupils on the foundation Maths and English papers, and successfully supported them with passing this grade.

I like to use humour and real life examples in my lessons to support uptake of the key learning as much as possible. I know what it is like to not 'get' something, and strive at all times to build the confidence and competence of my pupils. My teaching style will vary depending on the needs of the student and their learning style. I like to use alternative examples to support the understanding of the core material, while also providing worked, guided and independent questions to build confidence and application.

I require at least 2 days notice of cancellation, otherwise a £5 charge will be levied. Holidays can be booked along term times, as I may also require a holiday from my main job.
