About Sue
I have experience of teaching from Nursery to year 6 and have taught in special educational needs schools as well as mainstream primary. I also have experience of teaching children within mainstream school with special educational needs. I can use simple Makaton. I have taught class sizes of 15 to 30 and I have also taught a mixed class which consisted of Reception, year 1, year 2 and a boy who was SEN from year 3.

I believe teaching should be fun. I like to nurture my students by making lessons, fun, relaxing and stimulating. I believe that every child is able to be fantastic at a subject they just need to know the way to learn that suits them best. I ask my students to do an assessment before I start to tutor them so I know their current skill set. I also like to meet the child first and find out how they learn best using VAK. I will travel within a 10 mile radius of Saxmundham or you are welcome to come to my home with your child. I have enhanced DBS and Public Liability Insurance. I teach children from age 3 to 11 in all aspects of primary education.
