About Julius
Hi my name is Julius and I am new to this site. I decided that this year (2023), I will start tutoring to help kids who are falling behind at school. Tutoring is something that I have wanted to get into for quite some time and I am excited to finally get into it. I am passionate about helping children learn and to have them enter high school with a solid foundation in being able to read, write and as well as obtaining the basic numeracy skills that they will need in life. I graduated in 2014 at Melbourne University and have been teaching ever since. I am also a qualified guitar teacher and willing to teach music theory and guitar skills. I am currently working at a Primary School in 2023, teaching grade 3/4. I also have extensive experience teaching grade 5/6 as well as 1/2.

I am a very patient teacher who can help you in any area of the curriculum you are having troubles with, whether it is maths, reading or writing. My lessons are tailored to your personal needs. For example, I can help you with understanding language features within a genre to write a powerful persuasive or an exciting narrative. I can help you with decoding words when reading or I can assist with improving your spelling. I also have a solid understanding of teaching all areas of mathematics, from measurement and geometry to number and algebra to statistics and probability.
My lesssons are available online via Google Classroom, or lessons can be conducted at your home, I am prepared to travel within 15km.
