About Malou
I’ve been a teacher for 13 years, in schools and private tuition, and I’m also a professional storyteller. I have a real passion for maths as I struggled with the subject as a child and so understand where the misconceptions come from. I know how to unpick these to enable a student to grasp the subject with confidence.

I teach knowledge and skills application for each subject area through a mix of images and models. The more practical the session the more the children grasp the concept. I find the gaps in learning and address these, whilst also looking to deepen their understanding (greater depth) by applying their knowledge in a range of contexts.
