Anson is an incredible vocalist, arranger, composer, and teacher who is patient, knowledgable, and kind!

Anson is so patient , easy to talk to right away, and great at explaining things in a way that makes sense! She’s so talented, too amd really knows her stuff! :)

Anson is a beautiful singer, incredible composer, and an excellent jazz musician. Her artistic talent is shown through her stunning performances throughout the United States and France as well as through her versatility and originality as a composer. The quality of her work including her integrity concerning the professional field is without a doubt impeccable. Anson’s positive, thoughtful, and creative approach to music is inspiring and her experience in the music industry is unmatched which makes her the perfect teacher for any student wishing to excel in all things music; singing, composing, and arranging.

Anson and I first met each other in college - I was immediately blown away by her incredible breadth of talents (singing/songwriting, piano, guitar, architecture, cognitive science, computer science). Do not be fooled, however: Anson did not sacrifice depth for breadth in her study of these topics. She is curious, cerebral, and has a rich understanding of the topics she teaches. In my case, this has been singing and piano. In spite of her deep understanding of music, she has always managed to translate complex topics into simple language and consistently meet me at my level. She has helped me to see the scientific side of music, and I can only imagine she helps others discover the beauty in science. Anson is also a kind, patient, and understanding person. I feel grateful to have learned from her and could not recommend her highly enough as a teacher.

Anson is both gifted and well-trained across a variety of scientific and artistic disciplines; even more importantly, she is an empathetic teacher, an excellent listener, and an all-around extremely high-quality person. I could not recommend her more highly!
