About Lydia
I have been tutoring students since high school and have always been good in english. I attended Harker and Princeton and have been teaching skills and mindsets since, in addition to other jobs - I have extensive experience teaching reading, math, writing, and the SAT among other subjects. I can help you or your child in any form of writing and English - and have extensive experience in college preparation. I have also taken 6+ years of Spanish and am happy to assist in this area as well.
I have worked with students of all ages from third grade through to high school. For elementary-age students, I can assist in reading, homework, math, and test-taking, strategies (and even for high-school entrance exams)!
For middle and high school students, I have experience assisting with any type of English, history, and Spanish duties. If you have a research paper, or need help with note-taking or SAT strategy, I can help. I also have extensive experience the college essay, admissions process, and can serve as a consultant as well. I have experience with small group teaching, as well as more formal environments. As a Bay Area native, I understand the intense* academic culture of this area and am able to assist.
