About Anandita
I believe that being a student – regardless of age and subject – is the best form of learning to develop and grow as a person. Using materials and playing with everyday media helps explore newer ways of seeing things. I am a strong believer of being curious, stepping out of the comfort zone and trying something new. I have learnt a lot by adapting this attitude to everything I try.
I have worked extensively with watercolour, acrylics and have illustrated multiple pieces over the years. I have been a printmaker for more than 5 years. Over the years, I have refined my practice and pushed the boundaries to achieve something new!
I believe the greatest gift you could give yourself is to be able to learn something new, something you have been apprehensive about. If you are unsure if you will be good at it, but are curious to find out, you have come to the right place!
Making mistakes and being bad at it is a part of the process of learning, and this is my most favourite part – it makes a lot more fun and beautiful!

Starting with the basics and origin of the craft. Understanding basic colour theory and how to break it down to simple shapes and forms. Slowly introducing materials and learning to experiment and explore while learning more about the material.
For printmaking: ages 15 and above.
For illustration and painting: all ages interested in learning.
