About Keon Tyler
My name is Tyler, and I’m an incoming Grade 11 student from Ateneo de Manila University, one of the top academic institutions in the Philippines, where I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving. I have a strong passion for math, especially Algebra and Geometry, and I enjoy helping students understand concepts in a clear and encouraging way.
Math has always been a big part of my life because I come from a family filled with mathematicians and people who enjoy analytical thinking and problem-solving. Growing up in that environment helped strengthen both my skills and my love for teaching others.
As a student myself, I understand the stress, pressure, and workload that come with school. Because of that, I aim to be more than just a tutor — I also want to help students build confidence, improve study habits, and develop better time management skills so they can balance academics more effectively.
I’m patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve in math, but also to encourage them to become more confident, organized, and motivated learners overall.

I’m an incoming Grade 11 student from Ateneo de Manila University currently based in the United States for an online schooling program. I specialize in Algebra and Geometry, and I enjoy helping younger students understand math in a simple and stress-free way.
My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and step-by-step learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are explained clearly and at a comfortable pace. I like to break down difficult problems into smaller parts so students can fully understand the process instead of just memorizing answers.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing topics the student finds challenging. I then explain the concept, solve practice problems together with the student, and give them opportunities to try problems on their own while I guide them when needed. I also share useful problem-solving techniques and study habits to help students become more confident in math.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I can relate closely to students and explain lessons in a way that feels approachable and easy to follow. Since I am also a student, I understand common struggles in learning math and aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment.
My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students who need help with basic math, Algebra, Geometry, homework, quizzes, test preparation, or improving their overall understanding of math concepts.
