About Thalia
I was born in Grenoble, France, and have been bilingual since birth. After moving to the US, we went back to visit French family every summer, and I even studied theatre in Paris for 6 months as part of study abroad. Since graduating from Macalester College with a Theatre major and French minor, I have been tutoring locally in the Twin Cities and online for over 8 years now. My students have ranged in ages from 5 to 75. Although I usually teach individuals, I've had a great time teaching siblings and sometimes entire families together.

My other passions of art and theatre inspire me to make French lessons more personal and fun. I like to create original lessons based on each individual's unique personality and specific goals. Past students have especially appreciated my patience and kindness, because learning a new language can be difficult, and it of course takes time, practice, and encouragement.

French lessons will be 35/h online, and 40/h in person. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, so if a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours it will still need to be paid for.
