About Laurence
Bathed in languages since my birth thanks to my dual nationality, I have always pursued a linguistic path. Following my studies in Germanic languages (including an Erasmus in Ghent), I have been teaching for 3 years in a college in Namur.

" I do not like English! "" It is of no use anyway as a subject in Dutch! »« And then the rules of grammar are too hard! What parent has never heard these phrases come out of their teenager's mouth? Languages are often unloved and sometimes even sources of stress for young people who, although they have a strong need for communication, find themselves totally silent when asked "Wie ben je?" "Or" How are you today? ". Teacher of Germanic languages in a college in Namur for several years, I had the chance to put my passion at the service of my students! Although working in a group can have many benefits for learning a language, this method is not suitable for all learners and I like to supplement this approach with individual lessons. These allow me to put more emphasis on alternative methods and resources. Over the past few years, I have come to realize that in addition to providing them with real language skills, they above all lead young people to gain self-confidence and autonomy. This is my goal: to get the young to stand on their own two feet!
