About Imran
Music and Performing Arts has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I always heard what real and technically correct singing was around my childhood home from my family members. It is fair to say that I was inspired to pursue this career stemming al the way back to my roots. I am a proud BFA musical theater graduate (Summa Cum Laude) from The University of Florida and New World School of the Arts. I started classical Vaganova Ballet training and Jack Cole musical theater jazz dance training at the age of 18 and went on to further my dance education at Miami City Ballet, and Thomas Armour Youth Ballet. I have choreographed, performed and directed all over South Florida theater. Past performance credits include my Carbonell Award Winning Performance (Best Supporting Actor In a Musical) in Area Stage Company’s production of Beauty And The Beast. I also had the pleasure of being apart of the broadway bound, world premiere musical "A Wonderful World" directed by Tony Award Nominee Christopher Renshaw. I have a number of other directing and choreography
I found my love of teaching when I started volunteering for the local middle school drama club near me in the year 2012. Seeing how passionate people were about something I loved for many years made me not only feel seen, but it inspired me to share my love and passion of the same craft with other people. Hearing a vast array of different stories from people of all ages of their reasons as to why they want to study any discipline of the performing arts is always my favorite aspect of teaching. Understanding each individual student's stories and personal goals makes the educational experience highly personalized for every student in unlocking their individual artistry.
When I am not teaching, you can always find me performing on stage, around the piano jamming out to music with family and friends, and playing pickleball with friends on Miami Beach.

With over 8+ years of teaching experience with students of all ages, I am proud to call myself an artist
Voice: Vocal Pedagogy training, Musical Theater Voice, Classical, Pop/ R&B Voice Repertoire
Dance: Russian Vaganova Ballet, Jack Cole Jazz, Fosse, Hip Hop, Tap, Music Theater Dance
Acting: Patsy Rodenburg Technique, Uta Hagen Method, Meisner Technique, etc., and Audition Prep
All are welcome to obtain the knowledge and the discipline of the Musical Theater performing arts. Passion and dedication will result in the triumph of achieving challenging and self-rewarding goals.
