About Rebekah
My high school Spanish teacher always told me I had a flair for the language and it turns out she wasn't wrong - I've since gone on to study an undergraduate degree in it at the University of St Andrews, a Masters degree in Interpreting and Translating at Heriot-Watt University and actively using Spanish is now a big part of professional life. The only thing my teacher didn't predict was me meeting and marrying a Spanish man! Nevertheless, I have no doubt that it's that flair she identified way back when that makes me so passionate about sharing my language skills with others. That's why I have since gone back to my old high school to help out with the language classes and I now tutor privately too.

I'm a firm believer that it's important to listen to your students' needs and tailor the classes around them. While one student may need to practise grammar to pass an exam, another might want to practise conversation for their upcoming holiday in Spain, and that's completely fine. As far as I'm concerned, there's no "one size fits all" approach when it comes to language learning.

I have now known Rebekah for many years on a professional and personal level, and I would definitely recommend her as a teacher. I've heard many good reviews from her students and I know several of them have managed to progress both academically and professionally thanks to her teaching. Furthermore, she is dedicated and puts a lot of effort into using creative and engaging ideas in her classes.
Rebekah is fabulous! She is reliable, fantastic with communication and makes learning feel easy. I have no background in Spanish and she's been extremely patient with me and helpful :)
